#savetheplanet was an Earth Day campaign, sparking environmental awareness. The premise of this campaign was to make its viewer question the state of the world, both by telling and asking them about said sate. Choices in (no) color, typography and final treatments put an emphasis on the message being conveyed. Additionally the idea, "the ends justifies the means" was employed to further the ethos of the campaign.
While the focus was social media with the use of the infamous hashtag, an installation would be deemed necessary as well. With guerrilla marketing style tactics in mind, a number posters were plastered on the wall of a building, hoping to capture the attention of anyone passing by.
Pulling influence from a number of events in 2020, the campaign would soon be revisited, again through social media, with a simple typography driven piece.
